Ready for a revolution
After meeting through their designer rental businesses (The Borrowed Collective & Rabbit Burrows), founders Ashleigh & Charmaine realised they had the same mission. To prevent the impact fashion has on the environment, without taking away the joy of a new piece. But the faster their rentals flew out the door, the more sure they became that their job wasn’t finished yet. To really rekindle New Zealand’s love for fashion, they knew they had to slow down the entire industry and make it more mindful.
Second hand and rental platforms already existed. But no-one was filling the gap that could make all the difference to fashion lovers and casual shoppers nationwide. This led to Rotation; a platform that allowed users to engage in all forms of shopping & renting without having to visit multiple stores.
